Voices in Your Head

Voices in Your Head is a student-run, mixed voice a cappella group from the University of Chicago who aim to "push the bounds of contemporary a cappella." Founded in 1998, the group has consisted of both undergraduate and graduate students whose studies range from Economics to Music to MD/PhD programs. They sing music from every genre, but lately specialize in alternative, R&B, and pop music. In 2025, Voices placed fourth overall worldwide at ICCA Finals. They compete in competitions such as ICCA, LAAF, or BOSS; record music; and release music regularly.
