The University of Chicago Space Program (UCSP) is UChicago’s premier student organization for space-related research, engineering, and exploration. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities to engage in aerospace, astrophysics, instrumentation, and hands-on engineering through ambitious technical projects and interdisciplinary collaboration. UCSP supports undergraduate-led satellite missions, high-powered rocketry, and scientific instrumentation development while fostering professional growth through lectures, workshops, conferences, and industry engagement. We seek to advance space science and engineering at UChicago by empowering students to design, build, and fly technologies that contribute to the future of space exploration.
