Men's Ice Hockey

The University of Chicago Men’s Ice Hockey Club is a student-run organization dedicated to bringing together students who share a passion for hockey, regardless of experience or skill level. The team competes in the Gold Division of the Blackhawks Adult Hockey League, playing a 21-game season from late September through April at Fifth Third Arena in downtown Chicago. We also organize exhibition games against other universities, including Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Loyola, as well as weekly practices and scrimmages at the Midway Plaisance Ice Rink during the winter months. All students are welcome to participate in league games and practices, although exhibition games may have additional eligibility requirements. Students interested in joining are encouraged to bring their hockey equipment to campus at the beginning of the academic year.
