MODA: Specimen 2026

MODA, the University of Chicago's student-run fashion organization, returns to the Field Museum on Saturday, April 11 for one of its most ambitious productions yet. This year’s show features the work of 35 student designers, showcasing over 80 unique looks, and is powered by the efforts of over 200 UChicago students behind the scenes. The evening will also include a performance by Chicago’s Maya dance group and a DJ set spanning genres like techno, house, and K-pop, creating an atmosphere where fashion meets movement and music.

Standing: Feel the energy of the crowd! This is the most popular option, where you can dance, hang out with friends, and enjoy the show from the liveliest part of the venue.

Balcony: Take in the show from the balcony with a stunning bird’s-eye view of the runway and of the venue’s grand architecture — an ideal spot to capture the beauty of the night.
